     Officials

     Trackwrestling Deadlines

• Lineup entry deadline is Friday December 23rd at 10:00pm. You will be locked out of TrackWrestling at this time to enter or change your lineups.
• Seeding information must be entered between Friday December 23rd at 10:00pm and Tuesday December 27th at 10:00pm.
• Lineups can be changed after the lineup entry deadline up until and including your seeding call-in time slot. If lineup changes are required before your seeding call, you will have to contact one of the tournament staff. Otherwise your seeding official can make the change(s) during your call in.
• No seeding information can be entered after 10:00pm Tuesday December 27th.

     Seeding Criteria

• Records and head to head competition is very important to have your wrestlers seeded correctly.
• Check the call-in matrix below for your time slot. You are still required to call into your seeding official even if you don't have line-up or seeding changes.
• Entering your lineups into TrackWrestling
• Enter all participant informtion correctly in the Participant Info section.
• Do not enter wrestlers names in UPPERCASE.
• Make sure you enter a record for every wrestler.
• Last years performance for Bi-State, Regionals, Sectionals & State.
• Accurately complete all the information in the Criteria Values section.
• You need to select a seeding category(1 - 9) for every wrestler in your lineup.
• Indicate other wrestlers that your wrestler has beaten in the Head to Head section.
• Remember to add your media contacts also.
• The wrestlers will first be placed in order using the seeding criteria below, then any wrestler that has beaten a wrestler within 1 slot(s) above him and has not lost to any wrestler below the wrestler will get moved ahead of the wrestler he beat.
• If a wrestler has beaten a wrestler but lost to another wrestler below the wrestler he beat, that wrestler will not be moved.
• Initial seeding is determinted by the information you enter into TrackWrestling. Final seeding maybe determined by the officials at the seeding meetings based on all factors.

     Seeding Call-In Matrix

     Team Arrival / Team Packets

• You may pickup your packet on the evening of Wednesday December 28th after 7:00pm in the Illinois Room of the Radisson Hotel.
• Team entry is on Thursday December 29th is on the Second Street side of the La Crosse Center using the Exhibition Hall entrance(North). These are the doors closest to the Radisson Hotel. Do not use the arena doors.
• Pick up your packet at the counter if you did not pick it up Wednesday December 28th evening.
• Included in your packet will be security badges for each of the following:
  • All Participating Wrestlers
  • Three(3) Coaches
  • One(1) Manager
  • One(1) Statistician
• Extra personnel who HELP you during the event, may purchase passes for the same as admission.
• Please use the admissions for qualified people only. These are not for parents, friends, siblings, etc. to watch or coach from the arena area.
• Only team personnel and school personnel will be allowed through the exhibition/weigh-in areas.
• Admission to La Crosse Center.
• The North entrance doors of the La Crosse Center (2^nd St) will be the only entrance for teams(wrestlers, coaches, managers, cheerleaders).
• Main entrance will be for general admission and media.
• Back door(Front St) will be for staff and deliveries only. Team entry will not be allowed.
• Skywalk entry only for ticket holders & staff - not for teams. You will be allowed to exit the arena through the skywalk but re-entry without ticket will have to be through the North entrance.
• Teams must use the areana level to store your gear, you can not use the La Crosse Center seating area.
• The La Crosse Center will not allow coolers or bags in the arena seating area. This is a La Crosse Center policy and voilators will have their items confiscated.

     Weigh-Ins / Weight Allowances

• NFHS wieght classes will be used.
• Day 1 there will be a 2 lbs weight allowance (i.e. 106 can weigh 108 or less).
• Day 2 there will be an additional 1 lbs weight allowance (i.e. 106 can weigh 109 or less).

     Tournament Format

• 64 man brackets with wrestlers competing against wrestlers in all 3 divisions.
• Ten(10) mats will be used for sessions 1, 2 & 3. Session 4 will use three(3) mats.
• 1st and 3rd place matches will wrestle on the elevated stage. 5^th through 12^th place matches will wrestle on the outer mats next to the elevated stage.
• Each placement match will use two officials.
• Match lengths will be 2-2-2 for championship matches. Wrestleback matches will be 1-2-2.

     Updates / Paperwork

• Updated charts and scores will be available at the beginning of each session at the head table.
• You will receive a score agreement sheet with each rounds score. Someone on your team is to turn in a comparison score sheet at the conclusion of EACH ROUND. This is done to prevent any team scoring errors.
  Please help by confirming your team score at the conclusion of each round.
• You can pickup your weigh-in list for boths days during the third session at the head table.

     Publicity / Media

• Please post the information you are receiving so that students in your school are aware of the event, and help publicize the event in your communities.
• If you have any returning Bi-State Classic place winners or state qualifiers/place winners, please send us that information.
• Please stay a short time at the end to get a copy of all brackets, team scores and information for next year.

     Awards

• Awards will occur at the conclusion of the matches for the weight class preceding the concluding match for 12 places.
• Awards area will be located by the stairways to facilitate picture taking.
• Please have wrestlers available for awards at the conclusion of a weight class. This is all 12 place winners.
• We request that all 14 champions be available at the conclusion of the awards ceremony for a photograph for media use.
• Team awards will follow the conclusion of the last match.
• There will be three team trophies awarded, one per division 1, 2 and 3. Competition is across the whole field and the highest placing team by
  division will receive one of the three division trophies.
• Awards for MVW and most falls in the least amount of time is also awarded.
• Teams are asked to enter the stage for awards from one side and exit across to the other side.

     Cheerleaders

• Cheerleaders will be checked in separately.
• You will receive security badges for five(5) cheerleaders in uniform and one advisor.
• Cheerleaders will have restricted access will only be allowed to cheer on the end mats during the first 3 sessions.
• Session 4 you will be allowed to cheer on the south side of the arena only.

     Future Dates - (Tentative)

• 2011 - Thursday December 29^th and Friday December 30^th
• 2012 - Friday December 28^th and Saturday December 29^th
• 2013 - Friday December 27^th and Saturday December 28^th

     Accommodations

     La Crosse Center

• There are no changing room facilities available throughout the event.
• Locker Rooms A and B can be used for showering throughout the day. They are not large enough for all wrestlers to be in them at the same time.
• Locker Room C is for Officials use only.
• There are two dressing rooms on the northwest side of the La Crosse Center near the head table. One is for tournament personnel and the other is assigned to cheerleaders/femlae wrestlers. Please direct your team to stay away from this area.
• No towels will be supplied. Wrestlers must supply your own.
• The exhibition hall/weigh-in area can be used for changing, but it is very open. The entrances are draped but caution your personnel to eliminate total nudity. We will control access during weigh-ins and it should be safe at that time
• Full concessions are available from the La Crosse Center. The La Crosse Center WILL NOT ALLOW bags and coolers in the arena seating areas.
• Reminder ... The La Crosse Center is cleared between session. Please have your wrestlers & staff take there belongings with them and not to leave them in the center.
